How many questions is the NZ learner licence test?

35 questions, and you must answer 32 correctly (about 91%) to pass. Our mocks use the same 32/35 format.

What are the 2012 give-way rule changes?

Turning traffic gives way to through traffic, and right-turners give way to oncoming left-turners. Both are heavily tested — our give-way scenarios drill them until automatic.

What is the alcohol limit for drivers under 20?

Zero. Drivers 20 and over have a 250mcg breath / 50mg blood limit. This appears on nearly every practice paper.

How long should I study the Road Code?

About a week of short daily sessions for most learners, ending with three consecutive 32/35 mock passes.
